The parameters of these machines are characterized by high efficiency! Depending on the model, the values of these parameters may be different. However, generally speaking, the lifting capacity of telescopic loaders can reach up to 22 tons, and the maximum lifting height is usually around 30 m. From the next important information about telescopic loaders, it is worth emphasizing that currently there is one main division of these devices:

  • equipped with an additional swivel head, which allows the operator's cabin to be rotated 360 degrees, they are characterized by a large maximum lifting height.

Due to the multitasking nature of telehandlers, they can be divided in a different way:

Classification by design:
  • chassis: rigidly wheeled chassis (with stabilizers); articulated wheel
  • bodywork: non-rotating; rotary. This parameter means that the body may or may not be fully or partially rotated about the chassis.
Division according to the type of drive of the driving unit:
  • with hydrostatic-mechanical drive of the driving unit,
  • with hydrokinetic-mechanical drive of the driving unit.
Division according to the ways of changing the direction of travel:
  • steering all four wheels,
  • steering only the front wheels,
  • steering using the so-called "Crab movement" (enables the machine to be driven diagonally).

Application

Due to their large dimensions and multi-tasking, this type of carts are most often used in:

  • construction,
  • agriculture,
  • industry,
  • horticulture,
  • in municipal works.

The machines also work well during demanding tasks related to the transport of, among others: soil and all loose materials, steel structures, concrete elements, wood, stones. They are often found in production halls and in large-format stores, where they are used for traditional unloading and loading of pallets. Licenses for operators of telescopic loaders

Telescopic loaders are specialized forklifts, so special qualifications will also be required to operate them. The entire vesting process is divided into several stages:

COURSE

To become eligible, the first step is to join a Telescopic Loader course. Thanks to the classes, the participant will gain theoretical knowledge, but most importantly - he will acquire practical skills in the use of devices.

EXAM

After the course, your next step on your way to qualifications will be the state examination conducted by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT). After passing the test, the participant receives an appropriate certificate and authorization to work at the position of the operator of the device, which is a telescopic loader.

ENTITLEMENTS

The qualifications for telescopic loaders are valid indefinitely in Poland and the European Union countries. Are you a foreigner? Don't worry, it is possible to issue documents in other languages.

COURSE: requirements

To obtain qualifications to work as an operator of devices such as telescopic loaders, you must meet THREE requirements:

BE 18+HAVE MINIMUM BASIC EDUCATIONDO NOT HAVE ANY OBJECTIVES TO THE PROFESSION OF EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

The course program includes:

  • types of devices and their construction
  • technical supervision
  • the activities of the operator of the equipment before, during and after the task
  • basics of cargo science
  • additional equipment of the device
  • construction and operation of gas cylinders
  • Health and safety at the workplace
  • practical

It is worth noting that the great advantage of training is primarily the acquisition of practical skills. Instructors pay special attention to practical classes, thanks to which each participant is able to learn the specifics of work on this type of device.

The exam consists of two parts:

  1. and) Theoretical part is carried out in writing in the form of a test.
  2. b) practical part - in turn, this stage of the exam is to test the skills in operating the device. Hence, it is so important to participate in the course, which gives you the opportunity to learn about the specifics of working on telescopic loaders.

There are many aspects to consider when investing in purchasing or renting a charger. In addition to specifying the tasks for which the device will be intended, it is also worth focusing on:

  • brand of telehandler,
  • seller's warranty,
  • the mileage of the loader - in the case of renting or purchasing a used machine,
  • general technical condition,
  • important UDT tests.
