G2 course

Conducted in ERGON Centre for Staff Improvement training preparing for examinations in front of commissions of SEP, PSE, SIMP, SITPS in category G2 from category 2 and start work in a profession requiring such qualifications.

The aim of our G2 training is to prepare participants for the qualification exam for power licences in group 2. The classes cover operation, maintenance, overhaul, assembly, as well as control and measurement work - on supervisory positions and operation positions.

The courses discuss issues such as:

construction and operation of heat generation, transmission and consumption facilities and other types of energy equipment, installations and networks
energy law
control and measuring equipment
principles for the rational and safe use of heat-using equipment, networks and installations

In order to obtain a qualification, it is necessary to take an examination to confirm the qualification.

The examination may be conducted in front of various committees approved by the Energy Regulatory Office. They include the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP), the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers (SIMP), the Polish Electrical Installation Association (PSE), the Association of Food Industry Engineers and Technicians (SITPS or SITSpoż) and others approved by the ERO.

The licence obtained after passing the examination is valid for a period of 5 years. After this period, the holder must renew it and retake the examination before the certification board.

Requirements to take part in G2 training:

at least 18 years old
at least primary education
