The ADR examination is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 19 August 2011 on the transport of hazardous materials. Participants of the ADR course must take the exam within 6 months of completing the course. Participants who have completed the ADR stand-alone course for employees do not have to take the exam.

The examination checks the level of knowledge of national and international regulations concerning transport of dangerous goods ADR. The exam is conducted in a training centre by a committee consisting of two people, which is appointed by the marshal of the province. The committee consists of a chairperson and a member - a representative of organisations of road transport companies or drivers or a representative of the training centre.

A person taking the examination may submit a written complaint about the examination within 7 days from the date of the examination. In this case, the marshal of the province may conduct another examination or consider the previous examination to have been passed.

After passing the examination, participants receive their ADR certificates within 7 days. The certificates are issued for a period of 5 years.

Examination - car diagnostician
The examination for automotive diagnosticians is conducted by Transport Technical Supervision in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 4 November 2004 on detailed requirements for diagnosticians.

The examination may be taken by those who have completed car diagnostic course and have submitted a correctly completed application to the Transport Technical Inspection within 14 days before the examination day.

The following documents must be included in the application:

  • a written declaration that you have the required technical training and practical experience;
  • a written declaration of consent to the processing of personal data referred to in art. 23 par. 1 point 1 of the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926 and No. 153, item 1271 and of 2004. No. 25, item 219 and No. 33, item 285);
  • photocopies of the training certificate referred to in § 3.2;
  • photocopies of proof of payment of the qualifying examination fee

The date and place of the examination shall be set by the Director of the Transport Technical Supervision and participants shall be informed at least 30 days before the date.
